На кладбище... - 
   ничего совершенного...
Все надгробия кажутся древними,
   даже ухоженные...
За каждым - история жизни
  и жизней семей...
Одно над другим...
  Вразнобой...

Это и лучше,
  чем ровные линии
   в поле зеленом
стриженой новой травы
 и безликие памятники
современности...


Впрочем, ушедшим
   важнее молитвы живых...
Но когда мы приводим в порядок
  место упокоения,
их души,
   почувствовав нашу любовь,
вознесутся...


Царство Небесное, мамочка!

In the cemetery
   there's
    nothing perfect...
and all the tombstones seem ancient.,
   even the well-groomed ones...
Each of them has a life story behind 
  and the lives of the families...
One above the other...
   haphazardly...

However, it's better,
  than the smooth lines
   in a field of new green
trimmed grass
 and the faceless monuments
of modernity...


The departed
   need our prayers much more...
But when we put things to rights
  at the resting place
 their souls,
   feeling our love,
will ascend...


Let the Kingdom of Heaven be yours, dear Mommy!
