I had to make that take,
  although I had lots of such images already -
it was the fire head
  of the setting Sun
    above the black buildings
      criss-crossed by wires.

The clouds made it a little mat
  and the trace from the plane
    drew a white blirred horizontal line.

I had to make that take -
   just to get my mind off my life,
off the cowardish, mean, brutal, crasy
  and hypocritical people
that surrounded me.

I had to make it to forget
  all the frustrations 
and disappointments
   of my long traumatic way.

I had to make it -
  to cheer up and tell myself:
tomorrow it will be better...
