   losing its wit...

And while we live
  we go through - stage by stage -
both the sta-
  ges.

Experiencing them
  direct-
ly...

When I was fifteen
  and all the juice of life
was right within
  me
   the second line was just pure words,
but now,
 you know...

  And yet I did remember it back then,
so from now on...
