An internationally award-winning art photographer, poet, and writer, Olga began her photographic journey in the 1990s. Since then, she has created thousands of images, establishing a remarkable body of work that reflects her evolving artistic vision. In her home city of Moscow, Russia, she has held 20 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous international group exhibitions, sharing her work with diverse audiences across borders. Her artistic achievements continued to flourish in 2023, when she participated in 42 international festivals and exhibitions. During this period, she received numerous awards through ViewBug and international art groups, along with valuable certificates from world museums. Her creative pursuits also extend to film, including video clips for films by Paulo Duarto Filipe and her own productions, such as My Creative Life and Happy New Year, Another Walk Round Moscow, available on YouTube under the name Olga Slobodkina. Olga’s artistic journey has attracted recognition from publications in Russia, Niğde and Cappadocia in Turkey, and international magazines, including Waves and Runways in New York, Goddess’s Art in Germany, and Art Heals. Her work has also inspired art critics A. Voiskunskaya and William Meiland to write enthusiastic articles about her photographic art. A Vision Beyond the Ordinary Olga’s photographic style has evolved from phantasmal landscapes to abstraction, embracing single images, multi-piece compositions, and interconnected series. Her work encourages viewers to look beyond the literal image and discover new meanings in forms, textures, light, and visual relationships. Among her distinctive contributions is Random Images, a direction in visual art that she pioneered. This approach reflects the possibilities of finding artistic meaning in unexpected visual encounters, where chance and imagination meet to create new ways of seeing. Through her photographs, Olga demonstrates that art does not always need to explain itself. Sometimes, it simply invites us to pause, observe, and allow our own interpretations to emerge.
