It would have never occured to me
 to read Jane Austen...
I've always thought her
  to be a silly Victorian writer,
but the films...
  The films are fun.

It's especially nice
  to look at pretty faces.

The plots are all about
   love and money -
nothing new.

But yesterday
  when I came home
I watched "Northanger Abbey"
   until 4 a.m.
and the end
  amazed me
as something really great.
  The parson said:
"There was no blood
 or murder,
  but vampirism...
He drained the life of her
   by being cold and dry...
The worst crimes
  are the crimes of the heart..."

I've had it all my life...
