I've never seen such a rain...
 I'd say it was a tropical and shower rain,
but no!
  It was a torrential rain -
 cold, unforgiving...
  A storm, in fact, 
with thunder and with gusts of wind,
  which sounded like earthquake.


It wasn't just cats and dogs,
  but a waterfall,
     a thick wall
blocking us from the world...

I've never seen such rains,
  at least, not in the summer...
It was unreally frightening and vicious
  leaving whole pools, 
no - lakes of water on the asphalt...

I didn't want to go out on that day,
  even if that rain would have been followed 
by some sunshine...

It wasn't.
  The sky was grey and closed.

There was a short break
  and then the rain came back again.


I've never ever seen such rains...
