Sweet briar
  has emerged again
after the cruel merciless
   redecoration of the house
when all the vegetation suffered...

The house didn't change a bit,
  the bushes have become, however,
like me after a new haircut...

But they are lucky anyway...
  Because the trees in the adjacent yard
will be cut down to the roots,
   together with the roots...

A new apartment block will rise
  in front of us
and block the cosmiс view
  right from my windows
that I've enjoyed
  for 40 years plus...

Sweet brier...
  Stay!
You're the only flower
  that may avoid
the devastation...
